CMD, OPTION, and SHIFT often alter the way a tool will perform. For example: when using brushes, SHIFT will aid in drawing straight lines and OPTION will toggle to the Eyedropper Tool.
Try holding down various modifier keys when using any tool to see if it changes the tool cursor, or the way it works. Remember you can always undo (CMD+Z) |
